Woodfield Ash Dump DoorAn ash dump door is that little "trap door" you'll find in the bottom of mostfireplaces. It's a handy device because it allows you to sweep the ashesinto the ash pit located below the fireplace.The ash dump door's access hole is the size of a brick. The masonry opening dimensionsare 4-5/8" X 8-5/8". The outside dimensions are 5-1/2" X 9-1/2".Simply lift out the old door and drop in the new one.
